Romaja are input methods that you can use to type Korean by using the English letter that corresponds to the pronunciation of each letter in Korean. For example, the M key corresponds to “ㅁ” in Hangeul.
HNC Romaja
Below are some tips for the HNC Romaja keyboard setting:
In order to write ㄸ, ㅆ, ㅃ, ㄲ, ㅉ, you can either 1) write ㄷ, ㅅ, ㅂ, ㄱ, ㅈ twice or
2) press shift + ㄷ, ㅅ, ㅂ, ㄱ, ㅈ.
If you press shift + Vowel, it automatically adds the ㅇ (placeholder) before the vowel. For example, if you press shift + a it will show you 아.
In order to write ㅑ or ㅛ, first write ㅣ and then ㅏ or ㅗ.
When typing in Korean, the order should be from left to right and top to bottom. Let’s practice with a word “안녕 (Hello)”.
x: ㅇ
a: ㅏ
n: ㄴ
n: ㄴ
i e: ㅕ
